Mercury Meetup #4:
Thursday, Aug. 20, 5-7 p.m.
Little River Trading Co.
2408 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy., Maryville
Got something on your mind?
An idea that must be shared?
A story you’d like to see covered?
Now’s your chance to tell us what you really think—in person!—at the Knoxville Mercury Meetups.
Every month, the staff of the Knoxville Mercury will visit a different neighborhood to socialize with readers and to learn more about the issues facing each of our communities.
The locations will be comfortable places around town where readers can easily drop in: pubs, restaurants, coffee houses.
There won’t be any speeches or roundtables. We’ll just be hanging out, ready to chat about darn near anything with whomever stops by.
See you there!
Editor Coury Turczyn guided Knoxville's alt weekly, Metro Pulse, through two eras, first as managing editor (and later executive editor) from 1992 to 2000, then as editor-in-chief from 2007 to 2014. He's also worked as a Web editor at CNET, the erstwhile G4 cable network, and HGTV.
