The second coming of Knoxville’s Food Truck Park will occur on Thursday, May 21, from 6-10 p.m at the Historic Southern Railway Station (306 West Depot Ave.). Blue Sip Winery first presented this event in April.
“We were ecstatic with the reception we got,” says the winery’s president, Linn Slocum. “Despite the weather, hundreds came to enjoy good food and the setting the station provides.”
This time around, the truck park will join forces with the Southern Station Live concert series as a Third Thursday event and will feature music from local singer/songwriter Mike Snodgrass. Raven Records and Rarities, the first sponsor of the event, will be on hand selling vinyl, and WUTK, also a sponsor, will operate a booth with giveaways and prizes.
The featured food trucks include Breezy Weenie, Forks on the Road, Gonzo Gourmet, Hawg Dawg’s, Holy Smokin’ BBQ, The Lunch Box, Poutine Mobile, Retro Taco, Savory & Sweet, Tootsie Truck, and more.
Blue Slip wines will available for purchase and guests can enjoy tours of the Historic Southern Railway Station. For more information see blueslip.com, knoxvillefoodtrucks.com, and southernstationlive.com.
